I needed a laugh this morning.

This morning when I was on facebook one of my Arthur friends posted this:

Fill'er up please! Before prices explode??

Since I original come from Amish country I loved it.
Also made me think of a photo someone else had posted seeing a Amish man taking his boat to the river.

It was down by my niece's house and I went back on facebook and found the photos.

I do believe that is a lawn mower that he has pulling it.
So, I am not the only one that Verna riggs things. And makes the best of situations.

A mess, but I sure do love her.

The other evening my daughter text me this photo.... Looks like she really liked her noon meal! Can't wait to see her again this week end.

Ground hog day- 2-2-2011

The view from my desk this morning.
This bush is actually right outside my window here by my desk.
When the sun started to come out this morning it looked like there was still some snow in front of it.
This is the view within minutes.
The entry to the office is frightful. I most certainly would have gotten stuck if I had tried to drive. OH, wait, Bob picked me up this morning and if he had not had a 4 wheel drive he would never have made it. The streets were like a ghost town. Now the streets are okay if you stay on the main streets, and by now the people should have gotten their driveways open, but the side streets that have not been plowed yet are not very good.
Yesterday afternoon before I left for home, the city was throwing the snow up toward our building. One of the guys even went out and checked the side of my car since it is normally parked the closest to the street. Some of these big pieces were ice and hard.
Julie was going to feed the squirrel, but when she put her nugget out the squirrel came around the corner of our building and scared her. I was watching from my desk, I sure wished I would have had a video camera rolling. She thought he was going to run up her pant leg. The little fellow ran the other way, and the robin later feasted on her nugget.
