So on the day after, do we all have a sugar high?
Nope, not me, I didn't overeat and definitely not on sugar.
The hash brown casserole was delicious.
The festivities were grand. There were a few surprises in the day.
My daughter surprised me with a tote bag that she made. It was a year in the making, but I will always treasure it!

Bud has two Indianapolis, IN. air port runs today. One early this morning and one this evening. So since I have the day off, I will try and do some laundry and work in the sewing room a bit. I may even start the project that I want to send to my co worker's brother in Baghdad. If I get all that done, I do have another quilt top that I could put into frame to get quilted this winter.
But then, I could just plain watch tv, lounge around and do nothing all day. (Something that the ladies with little ones in the house cannot normally do for a whole day).
So my day after should be a quiet one here at home staying warm.
I hope and trust everybody had a wonderful Christmas like we did!
P.S. Someone in the family letter ask me if Santa was bringing me everything I ask for. I really only had one request of Santa. To this date he has not been able to deliver to me that request. Until then---we will keep hoping that someday he will be able to do so.

I have a feeling I know what you asked Santa for. I asked for the same thing for a few years, too. I did a lot of praying about it, too and finally she arrived, only not in the usual way, but...
If I am way off base with that thought, sorry!
We are off to do some after Christmas shopping today. Hope Bud has a safe trip, weather sounds horrible in Indiana.
