Of course I might just about kill myself getting it done, but,I'll do my best proving you wrong.
There are those who know how small my kitchen galley is..... And knowing how much stuff I really need to get out of the way so they can install the new carpeting.... Well, I used a bit of the pea pick en brain God gave me and used my theory that things would have to be stacked if I was going to get it all in. Or I would have to carry much more up the stairs for the day.
Contents in the kitchen that will need to be removed when they are done:
Freezer, small refrigerator, DVD recorder, VCR, Train board with track attached, bookcase, lamps, TV table, DVR, TV (yes, I put a blanket over it after setting it in so nothing would scratch it). Rolling stool, Yes, that is a bookcase sitting on the kitchen sink with basket on top of it.
Those stairs all but kill me..... I didn't want to unload cabinets and push and pull up the stairway.
Bud isn't worth much when it comes to moving furniture. He helped take a table up the stairs and for a second I thought he'd have a heart attach on me in doing so.
So, I instructed him to go sit down, and let me be I would get the rest of this stuff moved.
Did someone say they needed to use the rest room? Ain't happening down here.
(2 white pantry cabinets, metal popcorn can which is used as a end table, garbage can and other items on top of the cabinets.) Unless you can hop over things and stradle the toilet I think it best you find a different bathroom.
You will have to go upstairs and use that one.
Oh wait, you can't get up there either. Only today the chair is turned with the back to the stairway. So it has to be moved before you can go upstairs.
You want your pants hemmed tonight?
That isn't happening either.... This is what the sewing room looks like....
Can't begin to get to my sewing machine to do anything tonight. Perhaps by Saturday, I shall have 3/4 of this stuff moved back downstairs and be able to clean this room up a bit.
Talk about being glad that I moved all those DVD's and things the other day when he wasn't home.....Yep, I am extreemly glad!!!
I hope we shall be able to get all the tv stuff hooked back up after we get to put it back. It is always such a challenge to hook everything back up.
Of course Buds theory is ----Call the Geek Squad and pay them to hook it all back up.
Then he said he'll try and hook it up after he gets home tomorrow afternoon.
My question was...How are you going to get that tv and table back into the living room alone....It simply ain't happening....the tv weighs 39 pounds...Kim and I carried it okay when we moved, but with Bud's bad arm and no strength that could be a challenge. I did not want to try and take it upstairs. But his moving it from the kitchen to the living room alone.... NO, he best have help and better not try it on his own!
Now where can I send him for a couple of days until I get everything moved back?
It just might be easier to reassemble this stuff if I didn't have to listen to him grump about something not working the way he wants it to.
(After all when we moved into this townhouse he was out of town. That let me put things up before he got back.)
I did need his help putting the small refrigerator on top of the freezer, but I had put the freezer into the kitchen on my own. I had 1/2 inch to play with on having it clear the refrigerator handle and the counter top.
So, don't challenge me and say I can't do it, because I might just have to prove you wrong even if it almost kills me.
So, my next challenge will be this evening to try and get as much put back as possible and making it look like we live there again.

Ya, they do get hungrey. but they are such silly birds, they sneak in to eat and there is always plenty on the ground for them, but then they think they have to all try and get in the little Chickade's dish also! But we love watching them...we have had so many types of animals try and get in the Rock feeder...I try to get pictures if I notice...I just love animals...Have a great days :)
