Waiting for hand outs.

This noon I went to Circle K got myself some Nachos and cheese and went down to Fisherman's Warf next to the lake just to relax a bit.

Mother Duck brought her 16 children ashore.

She walked right up close to my car as if to say " I AM WAITING....Where's my food?"

I rolled down my window and snapped some photos and simply looked straight at her and said, I do not have any bread or popcorn. You cannot have Nachos. Sorry.

When Kim was young we always stopped at the bakery and purchased day old bread if we knew we were going to the lake. How she loved to feed the ducks.
One day when she was around 3 years old she was sitting in the cart while I was paying and the clerk was trying to get all the loaves in one back when in a very clear voice she said, "Don't squish my ducky bread!"
Oh, how I wished today that I had some of that Ducky bread to give Mother and 16 children.

We love to take Tizita to feed our ducks here in Watertown, too. We get cheap ducky bread at our discount bread store.

I fondly remember our trips to feed the ducks and I still enjoy doing it as an adult. I'm also looking forward to getting Kenley some ducky bread ;o)

R loves ducks. I have to admit so do I. Praying that your tests will come back good. Sorry about all the waiting.
