Sheppards Pie
1 lb hamburger, browned and drained
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 can corn, drained
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 can green beans, drained
3-4 cups cheddar cheese
Mashed potatoes to cover (6 servings of the instant)
Brown beef and drain. Put in bottom of oval casserole dish. Cover with veggies of choice and then spread cream of mushroom soup on top. Place layer of cheese (about 2 cups) on top of soup. Then cover with mashed potatoes and remaining cheese.
Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until heated thru and cheese melted.
Now I don't have a oval casserole so I used a cake pan.
It looked so yummy.
Of course Bud is always skeptical about trying new dishes and told me that there was a Burger King nearby just in case.
Thanks Kim for the recipe. Now I have lunch today also here at the office.
However, I must say I goofed and put the mushroom soup under the veggies...wonder if that is why it was just a tad runny?

We love Shepherd's Pie Verna! I raised my kids on it! And it does make for good leftovers.
Yours is a little different, but sounds yummy!
Hope Kim is doing well after the recent birth! So excited for all of you.
I never remember where to add the soup.. i don't think it really matters either way. sometimes just ends up a bit runnier if you dont get the veggies (esp the mushrooms) good and drained.
