Lots of things are/have happened around here since I last posted.
I have been able to spend some time with 3 of my favorite people.
I was able to watch Chase for two days when mommy first went back to work.
Then Kenley was not feeling well so the next week I watched her a couple of days.
A mess with her new dishes was not unusual. We had lots of fun together with them
Then she put her apron on and went shopping.
However, part of the fun was playing with Grandma's new IPad. And when she discovered she could take phones here are a few of the results.
Needless to say Grandma had tons and tons of alike photos, cause she would just click that snap button over and over again.
When I got home that time-- Stan and Jerri had put a new porch/deck up for us. It sure helps keep the mud outside, but did find out when it is foggy and a bit icy out there that it is slick.
Yesterday:
Wait there is a hole under the kitchen stove?
Oh, wait that is where the furnace is supposed to be.Thank goodness for space heaters.... we had to have our furnace worked on. When we got up it was 52 degrees in here. We were able to get it up to 70+ degrees in the living room while they had our furnace in the shop repairing it. (Silly ole nats) The got their butts burned, but they also burned out our limit switch and made us spend money to get the furnace cleaned. But now that it is cleaned it doesn't whoosh when it starts like it did...So lovely to have heat again.
Frozen fog...yep.... the fog has been frozen on the trees. We drove thru Weldon Springs State Park yesterday morning and below is a bit of what we saw:
Wait, there is a deer in there... Wish she would have stuck her head higher so I could have gotten a better few of her.
Then up ahead there is a momma crossing the road ahead of us.
No there are three---momma and two babies. Are these the same we had been watching last fall? It sure looked like it to me!
Later in the afternoon I walked out back to the lake to see the geese again.
So I really have been staying busy. Besides doing all this I have been spending time crocheting.

Verna...I always love time with the little ones...and I know you do too. I know they love their grandma! These were cute pictures.
You live in a pretty place. That must be nice. I have never heard of frozen fog...but it makes sense.
Glad you are keeping busy since you retired. I have been kind of lazy the last two days. I need to "get with it" and find something to do! Ha!
John and I went antiquing the other day, and out to an early dinner. So, I enjoyed that.
It is cold today, but supposed to warm up to 50 tomorrow. Maybe we will get out and about.
