-Bud took a car to Florida and the Thursday when he was due to fly back. Well that is the day that we actually got our first winter weather here. I went to Bloomington early so as to be able to get there to pick him up. After all it was only 26 miles or so from home.... I sat there and watched the planes for an hour then the weather hit.

This is a out going plane and they had to de-ice it before they could take off.
When they announced that his plane came in they were telling the people that were getting on that they needed to board , take their seats and buckle up for a very rapid departure... they wanted to get in the air while they could still see as visibility was getting bad.

Here is our front yard and the bird feeders out there under the trees.

We went to Monicals for pizza. This was Tuesday of this week. When we got more snow. Big fluffy flakes! It was so pretty.

Here is the field where we see the pheasants and the deer. There were a number of them out there in the snow when we went home that day.

Our front yard before I tracked it up going to the bird feeders. I tried rolling it, and had a small roll, but didn't get my snowman built after all.
Wednesday morning Bud went to Decatur and Mike picked him up at grandpas house to take him to Peoria to fly to Florida to pick up their car. Tonight he is in Tennessee, on his way home. He will be home tomorrow.
I have been spending a couple of quiet days here alone. Watching some tv, movies doing a bit of knitting. Fed the birds and saw a robin on the ground eating some of the seeds. He looked a bit cold.
Twenty miles south of here they don't have any snow on the ground. It is so amazing!
