Sunday

Why do I wakeup early!
I want to sleep!
The alarm is set for six a.m. And i am sure my brothers would not leave me here.

At the Days Inn , Greenville, Mississippi.
Just outside my door there was this boat. It was actually a surveyors boat, but it reminded me how much Bud has always talked about wanting a boat to sleep on the lake.

More of God's beautiful nature photos will follow.

Our ride.

The river between Mississippi and Arkansas.

We stopped at a gas station.this food place was across the street. Had they been open we would have had to. Investigate.

On the other side of the street was this produce stand.

What and why do some pumpkins look like this? They look like they have blisters or worts. Nobody in our load had the answer.

The center gourd looks like one of our geese on the pond sticking her/his neck out to bite is.

Mom used to have these plants.

Oh look a big rooster. How about setting it on our porch?

Mums...$4.65 each.

Wish I could remember what this is called. i used to have one years ago.

We stopped at West Monroe, Louisiana. At Duck Dynasty.

Levi, Dan and Abe.

Verna

Levi and Anna.

Dan and Clara

This must have been a very serious conversation.

We continued on south, seeing cotton fields and commented that some of the ditches were too deep to get out to take photos until Dan saw this one and pulled over.levi, Anna and I scrambled out for photos and feel the cotton.

It was so soft!

There was some on the ground so Anna got each of us a cotton pod to keep.

We arrived at Leesville, Loiusiana at the Super 8.
Abe and ZoAnn, Levi and Anna and I ate dinner at the Wagon Master just down the street. Dan and Clara took her friend out to dinner. They went to a different place so our group walked back to the hotel. After we walked back, they played cards in the lobby. Dan and Clara brought Naomi back and we all sat the visiting and laughing while they played cards.

What a fun evening.
