Saturday I discovered that The above vacuum that is over 10 years old is not cleaning like it should. Actually it was not picking up anything at all.
So, Bud went to Walmart and got us a new vacuum cleaner...called it my Christmas present. Not really what I wanted for Christmas, but we need a good vacuum to clean up our small apartment.
I guess I should say "I am greatful that I had my Christmas money from the boss, so that I didn't have to charge it on the credit card."

I have to disagree the old vacuum is 10 years old. I don't think that was the vac you had when I graduated college and that was only 7 1/2 years ago. I am however happy you went with the Dyson. Huge FAN! We love our Dyson but we rock the Purple animal for pet hair and allergies.
Hey, that thing looks like a robot! Cool! I'm have a Oreck and it's the ONLY vacuum cleaner I've EVER liked. It is awesome!

John usually buys me something practical that we need like that and says "Merry Christmas"!...so I know what you mean when you said... "Not what I wanted for Christmas". Ha! But it is nice to have a vacuum that works huh?
