Mother's Day Week End

My Mother's Day week end started on Friday night when Kim and Kenley and her friend Kimberly came from Normal to enjoy my Mother/Daughter banquet at our church.
They stopped by our apartment for a few moments before we had to head for the church.
Kenley got to eat her cereal before we headed out.

Grandpa got to see and hold her for a second.

Our friend who works at the diner wanted to see her so Amy came by to spend a little time with us.

When we got to the church my great niece Victoria, my niece Rachel, Kim's Mother-in-law Cheryl joined us.
Victoria had some snuggle time with Kenley.

Rachel enjoyed her snuggle time with Kenley.

Kimberly was enjoying her snuggle time (at least for the moment).

Wait, that didn't last long. It is loud in there, and it is close to bedtime for the little one.
Then it all broke loose. She let us all know what she thought of it.

Mommy was a bit frustrated, and she didn't quiet down till after it was all over, and we had her in a clean diaper, and in her p.j.s in the car seat ready to go home.
Mommy told me later she slept all the way home, and all night long.
We did not get a group photo this year. NOTE TO SELF: Get that photo first thing next year.

Saturday night when I went out to see Anita Renfroe concert.

It was at a church and a first come first serve on seating. So I was 6 pews from the front on the end of the bench. She put on one great concert.
Sunday Morning I went to Church and Sunday school then headed for Normal to spend the after noon with:
My lovely daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law.

Kenley was privileged to spend Mother's Day with her mother and both of her grandmas.
After a wonderful lunch we all went for a walk. It was a beautiful afternoon.

And Kenley enjoyed her wonderful nap.

Bud did not go with me to Normal. He was on his way to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to deliver a car. So yesterday he text me this from his hotel room view:

I told him to enjoy it, because today he is on his way back to Illinois.
I had a Wonderful Mother's Day.
Thanks Tom, Cheryl, Kim, Clay, and Kenley for sharing my Mother's Day with me.

Great pictures! I love the one of all the girls. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day too. Thanks for the coupons, just about to make a diaper/wipe/formula run (when aren't I about to make a run for that stuff though?) lol..

Awwww, what a wondeful time with your Kenley! She sure is loved! Happy {Late} Mother's Day! Glad yours was so beautiful!

You got to see Anita Refroe?!?! I didn't know anything about her until last week on another friends' blog, and watched some of her stuff on YouTube... I was hooked! She is hilarious! Would love to see her, but she's not coming near my area this year that I can see. *sniffle* Maybe next year.
