Thank you Lord!

Thank you Lord, for helping me wade thru my day. And for my blogger friends who said extra prayers for me today.

Julie made it to Walmart and back and got the Salesman's computer set up. Then he had problems printing. Sometimes I wonder if the guys should have computers on their desks.

At lunch time I took the overnight letter to the post office and mailed it along with another letter and purchased 900 forever stamps.

Then I ventured down to Dollar General in hopes of buying toilet paper and paper towels for the office. They only had two packages of toilet paper and one of paper towels of the kind that I wanted. So, I kept money out and bought more when I stopped at Cub Foods this evening to get coffee for us here at home.

Also purchased one of those baked chickens, yum, yum....No cooking for me tonight.

Mr. C had been in Normal all day working on the front of our daughter's house.
I wonder what he got the most paint on him or the house? Oh, I'm sure it was the house, but he did have a bunch on him too.

So, yes, Lord...Thank you for helping me get thru this day. Not only a busy one, but what we at the office call hump day.

Now tomorrow will be different.... I will be doing payroll a day early and adjusting every body's time cards accordingly next week to reflect what they actually work tomorrow. (Bob and Sherri are both going to be going to St. Louis moving personal belongs of Ron and Donna into the apartment down there on Friday).
Ron is hoping to get on the lung transplant list and get a lung soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as this is a very serious time for them. If he doesn't get a transplant ----- Well---he won't see many more weeks--days here on this earth if he doesn't.

The prayer chain also informed us that there was another member dear to our church family that has entered into the kingdom of God.... That makes 3 in the past week.
The 2nd lady--was suffering from cancer very badly. I know her daughter in law and daughter. She was a sweet lady (prayer warrior). She will be missed.
The man who has been in the hospital since the first of the month had heart problems. I did not know him as well, but know he too will be missed!

Thank you Lord for being with us today. Watch over us as we rest this evening and help us be a good witness for you.

I love your new picture at the top! I love getting those baked chickens too! That's one of the few things that all my girls will eat without being picky! Glad your day ended up okay!

Verna,
So glad the Lord helped you through your rough day. Amazing how He keeps doing that for all of us even when things seems so bad! Hope the rest of your week is smooth sailing.
Loved he pictures of you and Kenley on Kim's blog. When things get rough, just hold that little peanut!

Sherri, I can't always hold her when things get tough, but I sure can go back on my computer background and see her photo. It always makes me feel better and helps me get a smile on my face when things get tough.

Guess I should post that photo on my blog too. We had a wonderful time together.
