Anything So we don't have to go home and work

Today bud had a trip to Ft. Madison, Iowa....... We had already planned on going to Maroa to the senior citizens lunch there. It was fried chicken.




Mary's plate and she took a photo of me holding my chicken leg and text it to Bud. We knew we would be in the dog house about that.
The desert they gave today was a oatmeal raisin cookie and Mary doesn't like them.
We stopped in at the shop next door and had a look around the crochet/knitting stuff. Saw some wonderful yarn. Bundled in 10 skeins and it was 13$ skein.....oops that is way too pricy for my pocket book.
Then we went to Clinton and since Mary didn't have desert we stopped at the DQ.

Once again she sent Bud a text.




She was having a blast rubbing it in that he was not with us.Look at the smirk on her face.
We then stopped. At the antique mall in the church along the route then went down and stopped in at the quilt shop just around the corner of the post office.
I picked up our mail, but we still didn't want to come home....all she was going to do was clean.....and pray tell who likes to clean when it is this hot?
So we drove thru Weldon Springs State before we came home. Let around 11 to go to lunch and arrived home at 2.
The lunch was okay for $2.00
