It is really hard to get our family together anymore. It seems as tho after Mom and Dad died that we really have to work on it harder to get together.
Yesterday we gathered for Brunch at Levi and Anna's (They have a lovely garage and plenty of room for the kids to roam. Thanks for opening your home to us again.
Abe and ZoAnn, Brandon, Cindy & Rodney and their three girls came from Indiana. Dee so wanted to come from Indiana too, but Thomas wasn't feeling well, so they optioned not to come.
It was lovely to see family again. It was only 4 years ago that the whole family gathered when we laid our older sister to rest. We got some good photos of the day, had lots of fun. (If they didn't know I was crazy before now they sure found out).
Brandon had a very old photo of the family on his computer. I must go on line and order my own copy. I couldn't believe it. From the hair dooo and the glasses It must have been in the early 70's when I worked at Sim's Lumber. Oh how we have changed. And yet as I looked at it I must say, there is always a clown in each family. Some things never change.
The food was delicious. For those of you in the family who couldn't make it. You will just have to take my word for it. It was very difficult not to over eat. Everything tasted so wonderful.
The hard part for me that my voice left me last year. And I couldn't talk very loud so, it was difficult to talk to some, since their hearing aids couldn't pick up my voice very well. But it was still good to see everybody.
So, the Holidays are over, Tomorrow it will be back to reality. WORK, WORK, WORK,
But We Thank God that we do have the health and strength to work.

Sounds like a very fun family reunion. How many siblings do you have? I am back to work tomorrow, too. Boo hoo.
