Today is the day before Bud is scheduled to have his aneurism fixed. Or
Should I say. The first of the two that he has.
It will be a busy day for us. He went to do the additional blood work they required and then went to Miles to do a run. Trying to stay busy so he doesn't dwell on tomorrow. At noon he meets Tony and takes him out to show him where he needs to do the airport run pick up early on Monday morning. The address is hard to find, especially in the dark. Then he wants to meet up with me for lunch. Probably at Kreckels North.
I will be leaving here soon to go to Macon for a hair cut. Then back to Decatur to pay the Internet at Barbeck and do our laundry at Pride laundry. I refuse to use the one in Clinton! The ceiling fell in last week, he doesn't keep the machines up, and Mary said she saw lots of cockroaches when she went last week. I had only seen one in the past, but I sure don't want to carry them home. Mary didn't stay that day either, she ended up going to Maroa. Then laughed because she needs a stool to be able to get her laundry out of the washers. Guess we will need to carry our stools in the car to aid us.
Yesterday, I went to Champaign to see Kristen. Saw two of my brothers and wives as I was leaving. I stopped at the rest room, and when I came out there they were waiting to use it. Wow, you never know who you will see and where! Kristen and her cousin and friend were Tboned on Friday evening. These girls are very lucky to be alive and need our prayers and support! Many surgeries, tons of pain and a long recovery process. May God be with them as they go through this journey! May he show them his love, and hold them in the palm of his hand!
I will speak more about their accident in a later post.
But now I must get my shower and load the car and get busy or I will be running late to my appointment.

We will have you and Bud in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will also be watching for updates. God Bless.
