Only in a small town can a delivery truck park in the middle of the street for delivery.

The hotel hasn't changed. Years later it still looks the same.

Sitting in the lobby, you might be in the midst of school project on a treasure hunt.

The couple from Billings, Montana.

And the couple from Wisconsin, And the Amish lady for Ohio, who road train, bus and Amish taxi to get there.

Their local cemetery.

Plus sharing a laugh with Dr. Doug on the last morning there.

It was a full. Week!!! Very quiet, and like my daughter would say.....kinda boring!

And, i am guessing that boring was a good thing on this trip, right? Hope it was all you hoped it would be.
I like small, quiet towns!
Hope you enjoyed your time there Verna. (:>)
My husband is from a town of 1300 people and his family owns the grocery store there. We enjoy our trips to that small Nebraska town. When mom and dad were still alive we went there all of the time.
He has other family there, but we don't go near as often.
BUT there is a cousin reunion over the 4th of July, so we are looking forward to that.
Love you,
Linda
